Last week we had our 20 week ultrasound. This is the main ultrasound where they look for any problems. Unless there are issues down the road this will probably be the last ultrasound we have. Everything looked good and indicated that the baby is healthy and on track. It's spine looked good, it has all its fingers and toes, the placenta looks good, etc. We were a little disappointed because we didn't get a chance to see the baby moving around as much as we did in the last ultrasound. It was still cool, though, and it's good to know that the baby is healthy.
They estimated that it weighed about 12 ounces. The ultrasound was on March 18th. I was 19 weeks and 6 days along at that point and the baby was measuring between 20 weeks and 20 weeks plus 1 day so it looks like the due date is fairly correct. The baby book says that next week the baby should be around 1 whole pound. Fun!
Not much more baby news at this point. I'm still waiting to feel the baby move for sure. I think I may have felt it yesterday morning, but I'm still not sure if it really was the baby. It was a sort of bubbly feeling.
