After months of not being able to decide (and one failed attempt to order a different set) we have finally gotten some baby bedding. It's a jungle theme with browns, yellows, and blues. It's not my favorite thing in the world, but I really couldn't find anything that I just fell in love with and it's still pretty cute. It wasn't too expensive either. We're going to paint the walls a light green to match the green in the bedding. And I may just be able to coerce a certain artistically gifted aunt-to-be to paint some cute murals on the wall. I think it will work well for either a girl or a boy. Now we just have to find a crib...
Other news on the baby front is that I'm finally looking pregnant. We intended to take pictures of me each week to track how my belly is growing, but we haven't really been very good about it so far. I think we took one at 18 weeks and another at maybe 20. I didn't really look pregnant in either of them, though. Just fat. So I didn't bother posting them. In the past 3 weeks or so, though, the baby has moved up enough that I look pregnant. So I've posted the 23 week picture here. I'm also

ng the baby move now. It took me awhile to be sure that is what I was actually feeling because it's such a weird feeling and it's so sporadic. Also, I tend not to sit still long enough to actually feel it :-) I usually feel the baby moving around in the morning when I wake up before I get out of bed. It's a fun feeling! It just makes me so much more aware that the baby is there. It's not strong enough that Tim can put his hand on my stomach and feel anything yet, though (which he's getting impatient to do). I think he's feeling kind of left out. The other day we could see my shirt move when the baby was moving around, though. That was pretty cool.
I also got some cute baby gear from Rachel and Andy for my birthday: a onesie and two bibs. Tim is excited that they will help the baby embrace it's "British heritage", as he likes to say. I think they're pretty clever. Apparently they're designed and sold by a couple in which the husband is a Brit and the wife is American.
Very cute!
